Every winter, we light our campus and our beautiful Tree of Life on the roof of Grace Hospital. Over 3,000 lights shine in memory and in honour of loved ones, and remind us of the hope we have in our hearts for the patients at the Grace.
The lights on the Tree of Life are more than festive holiday decorations – they glow with love and shine with hope. Our love for someone special, and those gone, but not forgotten. Our hope for the future as we continue to provide the very best health care and support to patients and their families.
In 2020, funds raised from the Tree of Life will be directed to the “Envision Our Grace” $3 million capital campaign for the Diagnostic Imaging department, with a portion going toward our COVID-19 Fund.
Each Tree of Life donor will receive a tree ornament made from plantable seed paper. Enjoy the ornament on your tree over the holidays, then plant it in the spring in honour of your loved one, and watch wildflowers bloom! READ MORE about the plantable paper.
Tree of Life has been running for over 20 years and has raised over $2 million for patient care enhancements at the Grace.
