Every Friday on the Grace Health Campus, staff have an opportunity to carve out some time for self-care. Thanks to the massage therapy students from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies Inc health care workers are able to take a mid morning break and enjoy a relaxing massage.

Students offer roaming massages, seated massages or quick table massages ranging from 15 - 30 minutes. We are so grateful to have the students and practicum program back on the Grace Health Campus supporting our staff!

March is National Social Worker Month – and we are celebrating the 11 professionals that make up the Social Work Department at Grace Hospital.

SOCIAL WORK IS ESSENTIAL, this is the social worker theme for 2023.

“Social Workers are facilitators of community resources that is especially important in a hospital setting as a majority of the population does not know what community resources are available to them until they need them.

In a system of health care where patient flow is important, people need to receive the right care at the right time. Social Workers are allies to patients in getting the support they need." (Adam Krasnesky, Social Worker Clinical Service Lead at Grace Hospital)
