Memorial Giving Program
The Memorial Giving Program offers families a meaningful way to honour the memory of their loved ones by directing donations to Grace Hospital or Grace Hospice.

In Memoriam Tribute
Families often include a tribute in their loved one’s obituary to notify the community. Here is an example of suggested wording: “In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation.”
Once the tribute is set up, we manage the process by:
• Tracking memorial donation as they come in
• Providing the next of kin with regular updates, including the names and addresses of donors and the total contributions
Donations can be made through our website, over the phone, in person or by mail. We also offer donation slips and postage-paid envelopes for use at the funeral service.
Memorial Recognition
When the cumulative total of a tribute exceeds $2,500, we reach out to the next of kin to discuss recognition opportunities. Loved ones can be honoured on the Memorial Stone in the Memory Garden by Sturgeon Creek, a serene space for reflection and remembrance. The Memory Garden ensures a lasting tribute to loved ones in perpetuity.
