Love the colors of the trees

It’s the Grace’s birthday today!! The Grace moved to its present location on Booth Drive (named after Salvation Army founder William Booth) on September 27, 1965.
You may ask: What would we like for our birthday? We have three wishes:
1. That this hospital may continue to serve patients with compassion and professionalism, and to be here when you need us for many, many more years to come. As inscribed on the Salvation Army plaque at the main front entrance of the hospital, “At the Grace, health care providers learned skills to match their dedication, thousands of babies drew their first breath, and many citizens of Winnipeg and district ended their life’s journey.”
2. For everyone to ensure they are practicing the public health fundamentals of limiting COVID-19 transmission; be attentive to social distancing, wearing masks, hand hygiene. Be well and stay safe. ❤️💛
3. And, who doesn’t like receiving money in a birthday card?!?! The Foundation would sincerely appreciate birthday gifts of a dollar for each year ($55) to be put towards the re-development of the Grace’s Diagnostic Imaging department. (Through the mail or our website!)
Happy Birthday, Grace! 🎂

It’s the first day of Fall 2020! What are you doing to make the best of this warm and sunny day? We took a walk through Sturgeon Creek Park and took in some of the gorgeous colours of the season 🍂🍁🌾
