Grace Hospital Day is May 8, 2026

Join us for Grace Hospital Day, hosted by the Grace Hospital Foundation. This free family friendly celebration features a show by Manitoba’s comedic star, Al Simmons, live entertainment from the Royal Canadian Air Force Party Band, and a magical show by Evan Morgan! Visit with super heroes, grab some food, refreshments, visit the petting zoo, and get your face painted! Have fund with the talents of local kids entertainers including Sleepy the Clown and the Winnipeg Circus Club!

JOIN US ON FRIDAY, MAY 8TH!

Starting at 9am, listen to our radiothon on CJOB680 where you can catch up on what’s happening at Grace Hospital, hear patient stories and learn how your support will contribute to vital equipment and programs.

Our volunteer street teams will be out at Portage and Sturgeon collecting donations, and free ice cream sandwiches will be handed out at the hospital during the day.

At 4pm, the free family celebrations begin! Find us at Sturgeon Creek Parkway (just in front of Grace Hospital) and help us celebrate!

Local artists Al Simmons, Royal Canadian Air Force Party Band and Magician Evan Morgan are slated to appear under the big tent – bringing with them laughter, dancing and a lot of fun!

Free Treats! Grab a hamburger or hot dog from the FoodFare barbeque, and delicious ice cream sandwiches from our friends at Sargent Sundae!

Prancing Pony Portable Petting Zoo is bringing the farm to us with cute and cuddly animals that the whole family can visit with. New this year – PONY RIDES!

Try your hand at juggling or give the hula hoop a twirl with the Winnipeg Circus Club. These talented people will be sure to have you grinning from ear to ear!

We’ve got visit from Spiderman and Elsa! The kids will be bouncy with excitement to see them – don’t forget to take a picture!

Visit the Wellness Ambassadors at Blue Cross Tent and learn more about health and wellness in our community.
