Your Impact

Over the past decade, Grace Hospital Foundation has embarked on several major capital projects to enhance the quality of improvements to Grace Hospital.

Envision Our Grace Diagnostic Imaging Capital Campaign

When a problem can be seen clearly, it can be treated more effectively. That’s why diagnostic imaging is an essential focus now that Grace Hospital has transitioned to one of only three acute care facilities in Winnipeg. For patients, these improvements will mean greater peace of mind during life’s most stressful moments. They will know their treatments are based on the best diagnostic testing available. Read More

COVID-19 Fund: Communications Accessibility

Using the funds raised in the COVID-19 Fund, we purchased TVs and iPads for patient use, and turned on the bedside televisions and phones at no charge to the patient. Staying connected to loved ones during this period of visitation restrictions is valuable to everyone’s health, and the recovery process. Read More

Tomorrows Grace Capital Campaign

Funds were raised for the construction and development of Grace Hospital’s new Emergency Department and MRI Building. This state-of-the art department will assure patients have the best access to care now, and in the future. Read More

Grace Goes Wireless

Grace Hospital Foundation raised $100,000 to outfit the entire facility with wireless capability. The two-tiered system with one secure environment is available for our clinical staff to use in support of patient care information right at the bedside, and a second environment for use by patients and visitors for their personal devices. Equipment Purchase

Every year, Grace Hospital Foundation provides around $250,000 in funding for the Grace Hospital medical equipment “Wish List,” which includes items such as “WOWs” (Workstations on Wheels), bladder scanners, lifts, pumps, and beds. Read More

Programs

Your support provides $18,000 each year in special programs for Grace Hospital, such as the Music Therapy Program administered through Manitoba Artists in Health Care. We also do a lot of work with our volunteers with programs such as Hospice Tea and Bird Feeders, Art by the Bedside and the Book Cart. Thanks to your support, these programs can provide great comfort and enjoyment to our patients. Read More

Research and Education

Annually, Grace Hospital Foundation provides a $10,000 grant for research projects conducted on site at Grace Hospital. This research has a tangible impact on care provided at The Grace. Read More
