Donate In Memory of a Loved One
Making a gift in memory of a special person is a thoughtful way to pay tribute to the memory of a loved one, and let their family know that your thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
Family members, friends, acquaintances, and companies may complete their donations online, specifying the amount, and fund for their contribution to be allocated to. As memorial donations are received, the next of kin will be sent the names and addresses of those who have made contributions as well as the ongoing tribute total.
One time or monthly donations are equally appreciated. Tax receipts are provided for all donations.
Setting Up a Memorial Tribute
Choosing to embrace the opportunity of creating a Memorial Tribute Donation collection is a wonderful way to honour a loved one, celebrate a life, and “pay-it-forward”. The Memorial Giving program is for families who wish to have donations in memory of their loved one directed to Grace Hospital.
Oftentimes in obituaries, families request that donations are to be made to a charity instead in lieu of sending flowers.
“In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation.”
Upon notification of this request, the Grace Hospital Foundation will create a Tribute account. As memorial donations are received in the name of an individual, the next of kin will be sent the names and addresses of those who have made contributions, as well as the ongoing tribute total. Options for commemoration may be discussed at a later date.
Loved ones can be recognized on the Memorial Stone in the Grace Hospital Memory Garden, located near the Sturgeon Creek Parkway. The Garden is a place of tranquil reflection for patients, visitors, Grace Hospice residents, and families. It is a place to memorialize loved ones in perpetuity.
We are extremely grateful for donations made in this way. These contributions in celebration and memory of a life help us enhance the hospital’s care for others into the future.
